Delete your account

1. Open On the Menu and sign in.
2. Open Your account.
3. Select Delete account and confirm.

The application account, Menu Partner relationships, connection-scoped compatibility answers and custom cards, notification preferences, and that account’s menu attachments are removed. The app then requests deletion of the Clerk identity and signs out. A tombstone prevents the same identity from silently recreating the deleted application account.

What account deletion does not delete

A shared menu belongs to both participant slots. Account deletion does not remove the other participant’s access or valid guest links. The deleted account’s identity is removed from the shared menu while the menu follows its normal retention period. A compatibility match already proposed into that menu remains shared menu history; the private answers that produced it are deleted.

Delete a shared menu

Select Delete shared menu inside the menu. Both participant slots must confirm within 24 hours. After the second confirmation, the shared menu is permanently deleted immediately.

Hide a menu

Hiding removes a menu only from your account library. It does not delete the shared menu, the other participant’s attachment, or guest-link access.

Automatic deletion

Planning menus are removed 30 days after their scheduled time or after 30 days without activity. Agreed and closed menus are removed after 90 days.
